How to add photos to your storefront

In the wedding industry, a picture really is worth a thousand words. Before a couple reads your business description, they’ll often browse your gallery to get a feel for your style, quality and aesthetic. High-quality photos help couples visualise your services at their own weddings and understand what makes your business unique.

How to upload photos to your Storefront

Follow these steps to refresh your gallery:

  1. Log in to your vendor account.
  2. Navigate to the Storefront tab in your admin dashboard.
  3. Select Photos from the menu on the left.
  4. Drag and drop your images into the upload box.
  5. Add a descriptive title to each image.
  6. Choose your main photo.
  7. Click Save to apply your changes.

Tip: Choose your main photo carefully. Your main image represents your business in the marketplace and search results. Select a standout photo that immediately conveys what you offer.

How many photos should I upload?

We recommend uploading at least 20 photos to get started.

A well-curated gallery gives couples a better understanding of your work and helps turn profile views into enquiries. Focus on quality and variety rather than uploading as many images as possible.

Tips for choosing the right photos

Be selective about the images you upload. Aim for photos that are:

  • High quality: Sharp, well-lit and professionally shot.
  • Wedding-specific: Focused on actual weddings or relevant event settings.
  • Recent and relevant: Reflecting your current services, skills and style.
  • Diverse and varied: Showcasing different venues, colour palettes, wedding styles and clients.
  • Representative: Accurately reflecting the services listed on your Storefront.

Avoid uploading multiple images that look almost identical. A varied gallery gives couples a more complete picture of what you can offer.

Photo quality and content guidelines

Uploaded media is reviewed to ensure it meets our content standards. Images that don't meet these requirements may be removed.

What to avoid

  • Graphic overlays: Frames, collages, text, watermarks or other graphic design elements.
  • Contact information: Phone numbers, email addresses or social media handles embedded in images.
  • Low resolution: Blurry, pixelated or poorly cropped photos.
  • Misleading portfolio images: Styled shoots or other images that don't accurately represent your work or capabilities.

Best practices

  • Use clean, high-resolution photography.
  • Showcase real people, venues and work that represents your business.
  • Replace older images regularly to keep your Storefront up to date.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a limit to the number of photos I can upload?

There is no hard limit on the number of photos you can upload. However, we recommend prioritising quality and variety over quantity. A carefully curated gallery is more effective than one filled with repetitive or low-quality images.

Should I add titles to my photos?

Yes. Descriptive titles provide context for couples and improve accessibility. They can also help your images be identified if your business is considered for editorial features or inspiration content.

Can I use AI-generated images?

Your gallery should accurately represent your business and the services you provide. We recommend using authentic images of your work rather than AI-generated images that could misrepresent your services.

Can I add my website or phone number to my photos?

No. Images must not contain text overlays, including website URLs, phone numbers, email addresses or social media handles. Couples can contact you through the contact options available on your Storefront.
